Peter Egan & Rick Wakeman - Animals Asia

 

Every year, acclaimed actor Peter Egan, The Mill’s very first Artistic Director, produces a special charity event for Animals Asia.  A dedicated animal rights activist and Animals Asia’s UK Ambassador, Peter is thrilled that his great friend, the legendary performer Rick Wakeman has agreed to co-host a matinee performance on Sunday, August 2nd. A delicious vegan and vegetarian menu will be on offer for lunch before the show.

 

Peter has starred in television’s EVER DECREASING CIRCLES, DOWNTON ABBEY, AFTER LIFE with Ricky Gervais, UNFORGOTTEN and most recently TRUE LOVE. Rick is a classically trained Keyboardist and Composer, best known as a former member of YES. The double Act of these two impressive men is a spectacle to behold. Fabulous music from Rick, laughter and some truly heart warming stories about the Moon Bears of Asia. Peter & Rick will be joined by a special guest to be announced at a later date.

 

This sparkling event will raise funds for ANIMALS ASIA which promotes compassion and respect for all animals, working to end the barbaric bear bile trade in China and Vietnam, rescuing over 500 bears so far and caring for them at their award-winning sanctuaries. A live auction will take place during the show to raise funds for Animals Asia.
